Operation REACH has grown from a community-based organization to a community institution in the Greater New Orleans area. The organization’s National Headquarters and Knowledge Garden Child Development Center are located in Central City New Orleans. On New Orleans’ West Bank, ORI partners with Jefferson Parish to run the Home for Homework program in the Safe Haven Community Center in the Tallow Tree neighborhood. In addition, Gulfsouth Youth Action Corps members serve with youth programs at partner organizations across the city, including Kingsley House, Catholic Charities, Desire Street Ministries, the Louisiana Children’s Museum.
