Operation REACH established the Youth Change Network (YCN) in January 2010 to build a movement of high-performing youth-serving organizations that are promoting community-focused youth leadership across the South. The YCN is intended to create institutional change within the southern region by building the capacity of small to mid-size youth-serving non-profit organizations to empower youth to work for social justice and transform communities. Members of the Youth Change Network become affiliated with a national movement for building youth leadership across the Gulf South.
The benefits include:
- Networking opportunities with youth-focused grant-makers and other progressive youth-serving organizations
- Capacity-building support for innovation and increasing the scale and impact of youth programs and initiatives, including opportunities to receive AmeriCorps volunteers, funding, and training
- Research, annual surveys, and white papers on youth-focused grant-making across the southern region
- A subscription to Innovations for Growth and Change, our newsletter focused on best practices, trends, and opportunities in community-focused youth leadership
- National exposure and marketing
